Fast-paced environments demand design that works without compromise. In the recent refurbishment of a McDonald’s site in Wellington, the brief was clear — deliver a bathroom solution that could handle constant use, maintain hygiene, and present clean, modern lines.
Stonebaths worked with the project team to develop our first Ramp Basin designed specifically to integrate with Dyson Airblade Wash+Dry units. The result is a streamlined, touch-free solution that combines handwashing and drying in one continuous surface.
The customised Ramp Basin was engineered to accommodate the Airblade system seamlessly, ensuring correct fall, drainage, and user comfort — all while maintaining the minimal, architectural profile the range is known for.
In high-traffic commercial settings like this, efficiency is everything. By reducing splash, simplifying cleaning, and eliminating the need for separate drying zones, the design supports both operational ease and a better user experience.
