As part of the guest experience, Stonebaths supplied Bayley outdoor baths, selected for their durability, clean form, and suitability for exterior use in alpine conditions.

The baths were then customised on site to allow natural hot spring water to flow directly into each unit, creating a truly immersive bathing experience. This considered adaptation transforms a standard outdoor bath into something far more site-specific, where guests can soak in mineral-rich water while surrounded by native bush and mountain air.

The Bayley baths provide a solid, reliable base for this modification, with forms that remain visually restrained while supporting the functional demands of continuous use. Their simple geometry allows the surrounding environment to take focus, aligning with the broader design intent of the retreat.
