Shipping policy
Stonebaths delivers products throughout New Zealand using third-party freight providers. Due to the size and weight of many of our products, customers should review the following delivery requirements before placing an order.
Delivery Service
Unless otherwise arranged, deliveries are made by third-party freight contractors on a warehouse-to-kerbside basis.
Where safe and accessible, the freight provider may be able to place the product in a garage or carport. Delivery drivers are not required to carry or move products inside a house, building, deck, garden or other area beyond the standard delivery point.
If you require a special delivery service, please discuss this with Stonebaths before dispatch. Additional charges may apply.
Site Access
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and advising Stonebaths of any access restrictions or potential delivery issues before dispatch.
Delivery locations must have sufficient access for a medium-sized delivery truck. Where a tail-lift delivery is required, a reasonably flat, sealed driveway or unloading area must be available.
If delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect address information, insufficient access or an undisclosed site restriction, additional freight and redelivery charges may apply.
Heavy Products and Tail-Lift Deliveries
Many Stonebaths products are large and heavy.
Where required, a tail-lift truck will be arranged for heavy products and the applicable cost will be included in the freight charge.
Depending on the size and weight of the product, the driver may require assistance from the customer or another person at the delivery address.
Customers should ensure suitable assistance is available where required.
Split Deliveries
Where an order requires two or more separate deliveries and the additional freight has not already been included in the invoice, additional transport charges may apply.
Applicable additional freight charges must be paid before dispatch.
Unattended Deliveries
If you would like your order delivered to an unattended property or building site, you must provide Stonebaths with written authority before delivery.
Products left at an unattended location are left at the customer's risk following delivery. Stonebaths cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage occurring after an authorised unattended delivery has been completed, subject to applicable law.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery dates and timeframes provided by Stonebaths are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise.
Stonebaths uses third-party freight providers and delays may occasionally occur outside our reasonable control.
For indent orders, the estimated lead time is approximately 12–16 weeks from the date the required deposit is received.
If an indent order cannot be delivered within this estimated timeframe, the provisions relating to delayed indent orders in our Terms & Conditions will apply.
Inspection on Delivery
All products should be carefully inspected within 48 hours of delivery.
Please check that:

you have received the correct product;
-
the crate and packaging are undamaged; and
-
the product has no visible transit damage, chips or imperfections.
Baths and basins should be fully inspected, including their edges, while they remain in their crates.
If transit damage is identified, please notify Stonebaths within 48 hours and provide written notification and photographs within 72 hours.

Please retain the original crate and packaging while any claim is being assessed.
Collections
Where Stonebaths agrees to a customer or customer-appointed freight provider collecting an order from one of our warehouses, collection must be arranged in advance.
At least 24 hours' notice may be required before collection. Urgent collections may incur additional charges.
Where warehouse staff assist with loading, it remains the customer's responsibility to ensure the products are appropriately secured for transport once loaded. Transportation and handling from that point are at the customer's risk, subject to applicable law.
